A historical mark for HistoriCON podcast!

Historicon is the first Cypriot history podcast that explores and comments on historic events making them fun and interesting.

Comedian Constantinos Psillides started this podcast aiming to shed some light on real historical events. Together with his co-host Pavlos Pavlides, they discuss historical events with humor and a feel-good mood.

This noble pastime developed into a dearly loved habit for many listeners. Since 2020 when the podcast started, more than 85 podcast episodes have been published, and it counts more than 200,000 downloads so far. This number sets a historic record since it is the first and only Cypriot podcast with such a big audience.

Since its early days, Historicon has left the studio walls and has toured around Cyprus. The duo visits theatres and music venues, while the podcasts are recorded in front of live audiences and are accompanied by delightful stand-up comedy sets! The latest tour concluded late November 2022.
